2.9 Aminet Download Tool

The Aminet Download Tool is a facility which allows you to connect to any ADT supporting Aminet FTP site and then download a list of the most recent uploaded files. For instance you can choose to download the last 7 or 14 days of uploads (to Aminet). You can then sort the files by name, directory or type. ADT is simply the quickest way to keep track of the latest uploads and new files that are present on the Aminet.

Remember that you can download the files in the normal manner. Read through the latest files list, select the files for download and then press the receive button to the right of the window.

2.91 Searching via ADT

The ADT facility allows you to perform searches for files based on keywords. For instance, say we wanted to search for all STFax related files on the Aminet. We would click on the find button, select an ADT site, enter our text 'STFax', click on the search button and the search funtion will performed on the chosen site.

Any files that have the words 'STFax' within them will be shown in the main window.
